Abstract

Exit site care in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients is an important practice to prevent PD related infections. Our centre initiated a non-dressing technique of exit site as an alternative to the standard practice of exit site dressing. The study aim to assess the difference between dressing vs non-dressing of exit site in PD related infections over a 5-year period.
