Abstract
In this paper, power control in a multiuser MIMO network will be analyzed. Basically, we focus on power control algorithms based on game theory. Despite the advantages of state-of-the-art game theoretic power control algorithms such as low signaling overhead and distributed implementation, the users sum-rate has not yet increased because the saddle points (i.e., equilibrium points) in these algorithms are not in the Pareto optimality region of sum-rate maximization problem. We design an algorithm that can improve the sum-rate of power control games. The framework that we propose can also include games with pricing as a special case.
