Abstract

In this paper, we present a sum-rate maximization strategy for uplink cell-free massive multiple-input multiple-output (mMIMO) system with low-resolution analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and zero-forcing (ZF) receiver, subjecting to the per-user power constraint and the quality-of-service (QoS) constraint. Since the original power optimization problem is non-convex, we utilize the sequential convex approximation (SCA) method and transform this issue into an iterative geometric programming (GP) problem. Simulation results exhibit that the proposed SCA algorithm can substantially improve the uplink sum-rate of the considered system.
