Abstract
Summer Suite for trumpet is available with alternate accompaniment for piano, string quartet, sax quartet, string orchestra, chamber orchestra or concert band (wind ensemble). The concert band instrumentation is for 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 4 clarinets in Bb, clarinet in Eb, bass clarinet, 2 bassoons, soprano sax, alto sax, tenor sax, baritone sax, 2 trumpets (plus solo trumpet), 2 horns, 2 trombones, euphonium, tuba, string bass and percussion (snare, triangle, bass drum, timpani and marimba).Summer Suite was composed for trumpeters Brian Chin, Nathaniel Mayfield, Bryan Appleby-Wineberg, Adrian Kelly, Marco Esperti and Matt Burke. The Suite is in three parts, totalling approximately 13'30 duration:1. Popsicle Rocket Sunrise (4:')2. Still Life with Melon & Sand (5:30)3. Red Cherry Lark (4:)Each of the three parts may be played independently, as well as jointly.A revised edition of the score was uploaded on February 18, 2016.
