Abstract
The paper is a comprehensive overview of sulphidation-related problems in the β-NiAl-αCr system. It presents many physico-chemical data on intermetallic phases in the Ni-Al-Cr ternary system and on the respective binary and ternary sulphides together with rich experimental material concerning the sulphidation behaviour of the NiAl-Cr intermetallics in He/S 2 and H 2 /H 2 S gas atmospheres at high temperatures.
