Abstract
AbstractHerein, sulfonimidamide (SIA) has been used as directing group for ortho‐chlorination of arene of N‐aroyl part of SIA. The Pd‐mediated protocol uses N‐chlorosuccinimide (NCS) as oxidant/chlorine source, and acetic acid as solvent. The products are obtained in moderate to good yields.
