Abstract

In the last few years, because of its spread and economic importance, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has taken a leading role in legal studies. This essay investigates the definition of the concept of AI from multiple point of views: firstly, from a technological and terminological perspective; secondly, analyzing and comparing the definitions given by the US legislation, the forthcoming EU AI Act and the Council of State (decision n. 7891/2021).
