Abstract

The preventive maintenance (PM) comprehensive evaluation model is developed to find the optimal airport asphalt pavement PM project quickly, accurately and efficiently. By optimizing the TOPSIS method and introducing information entropy to determine the weights, the interference of subjective factors is avoided. Combined with the interval-valued theory, the interval-entropy weight-TOPSIS model is established to be more consistent with the needs of network-level PM. The model is successfully used to demonstrate the effectiveness and practicability at several airports in China. The obtained results show the optimal PM recommendation can be obtained by the model due to the consideration of more objectivity and practicality.
