Abstract
The following are synopses of recent books on architecture and reuse that may be of interest to readers of the IBM Systems Journal. Inquiries should be directed to the publishers cited. One important omission is SofhYareArchitecture in Practice by Bass, Clements, and Kazman (Addison-Wesley Publishing Co., 1998), a book which had a substantial influence on the Enterprise Solutions Structure (ESS) architecture team whose work is featured in this issue.
