Through its subsidiary, Suffolk County National Bank (SCNB), Co. provides banking services to its commercial and retail customers in Suffolk County, on Long Island, NY. SCNB operates 27 full‐service offices in Suffolk County, NY. SCNB offers a line of domestic, retail, and commercial banking services, and trust services. SCNB makes loans that are secured by commercial real estate and float with the prime rate, and finances most of its activities with deposits. At Dec 31 2005, Co. had total assets of $1.41 billion, and total deposits of $1.16 billion.
