Abstract

Sudden cardiac death in young adults represents a worldwide health risk, sometimes producing deaths within minutes after the onset of the symptoms. The purpose of our study is to establish population aspects of sudden cardiac death in young adults, in Bihor County, Romania, to evaluate concordance and discordance between macroscopic and microscopic aspects of the heart and to offer a possible solution for diagnosing acute cardiovascular pathology.
