Abstract
A complete description of W and Z boson production athigh-energy colliders requires the resummation of large Sudakovlogarithms which dominate the production at small transversemomentum. Currently there are two techniques for performing thisresummation: impact parameter space and transverse momentumspace. We argue that the latter can be formulated in a waywhich retains the advantages of the former, while at the sametime allowing a smooth transition to finite-order dominance athigh transverse momentum.
