Abstract

Copper thiocyanate (CuSCN) is a promising inorganic hole transport material for perovskite solar cells (PSCs) due to its wide-bandgap, low cost, high carrier mobility and good transmittance. However, there are limited reports about CuSCN application in PSCs mainly due to its inferior solubility. Here, we prepared high-quality CuSCN films through a simple solution method named successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR). Using SILAR method, high-quality CuSCN films could be obtained on ITO (indium tin oxide) substrate with good morphology and photoelectric properties. As a result, efficient inverted PSCs were fabricated with SILAR-prepared CuSCN and the efficiency can be increased from 11.10 % to 18.71 %.
