Abstract
AbstractThis paper discusses the use of conjugate gradient method for structural engineering analysis with multiple load cases. Specifically, we introduce a modified conjugate gradient method for the solution of a system of linear equations with multiple right‐hand sides. We show how this method can be used to improve the performance of block conjugate gradient method. Numerical results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the numerical schemes developed in this study.
