Abstract

Hymenoptera venom allergy is a life-threatening allergic reaction that develops after a honeybee, vespids (wasps), or ant sting. Severe reactions can be life-threatening or fatal. Beekeeping families are at a higher risk of honeybee stings, the risk of systemic reaction in this group being 14% to 38%.1
