Abstract

Successful entrepreneurship requires a blend of analytical, creative, and practical aspects of intelligence, which, in combination, constitute successful intelligence. This article opens with a description of the need to recognize that intelligence is not a single entity. The article continues with descriptions of practical and creative intelligence and then describes how all three merge in successful intelligence. The article considers how successful intelligence can produce different kinds of new contributions. The article concludes that successful intelligence, not just a subset of its components (analytical, creative, and practical abilities), is needed for entrepreneurial success.
