Abstract

Isolated bony metastasis from prostate cancer is extremely rare, thus, the efficiency of its surgical resection remains unclear. We present a case of isolated left sixth rib metastasis from prostate cancer that was treated with metastasectomy and androgen deprivation therapy. Salvage radical prostatectomy was conducted subsequently, successfully downstaging the tumor.
