Abstract

To understand how a cooperative organization carries out its strategic planning process, it is necessary to analyze the aspects that differentiate it from a noncooperative entity. This article discusses the mission and corporate values of the Mondragon Cooperative Corporation in Spain, as well as its organizational structure and functional operations. It concludes with a description of its corporate strategic planning process and the current version of the plan. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
