Abstract
Below we present a case of a 25-year-old female with an acute picture of lithiasic cholecystitis. Upon admission, the patient was found with intense pain in the right upper quadrant, which did not improve with posture. A diagnostic protocol with abdominal, clinical and laboratory ultrasound is carried out, integrating the diagnosis of moderate acute lithiasic cholecystitis (TG18 II). Finding a gallbladder measuring 11 x 4 cm, edematous, under tension, with multiple adhesions, with loss of anatomy towards the region where the position of the bile duct is assumed, for which it begins with drainage of purulent material (200 cc ), and antegrade dissection.
