Abstract

We report the case of a 53-year-old woman with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome who sustained a low-energy injury resulting in a lateral dislocation of the right subtalar joint which was confirmed on magnetic resonance imaging. A high-energy injury is normally required to produce a lateral subtalar dislocation. Connective tissue disorders should be considered in patients with low-energy lateral subtalar dislocation.
