Abstract

AbstractThe employment of Subsurface Interface Radar is becoming a valuable tool for archaeologists. It is now possible to obtain reliable indications of subsurface features prior to excavation. This article presents the principles of Subsurface Interface Radar and describes successful results of its use during August, 1985, in Sepphoris, Israel.
