Abstract

Substantivization as an Active Process in Modern Azerbaijani Summary This article delas with the study of substantivization, which is evaluated as a result of compression in the language. In the article, substantivization is considered as a method of forming a noun from other parts of speech. According to the author, “substance” is a generally accepted term in linguistics. Substance is one of the main ways of enriching the lexical layer of the language due to the possibilities of intralingual word formation. Reasoning, in a broader sense, is the formation of nouns by transitioning different parts of speech to them.
