Abstract

Introduction. Due to the increasing restrictions in the socio-economic sphere, ensuring the country's import independence is becoming increasingly important. Scientists and government agencies argue that small-scale farming can play an important role in ensuring food security. They have a significant potential to increase the production of agricultural products, provide themselves with food and contribute to the sustainable development of rural areas. Therefore, conducting research in information and analytical support, as well as popularization of regional farming in rural areas is of great importance. Methods. In this study, empirical research methods were used, including statistical data analysis, a sociological survey and a sample study. The IBM SPSS program was used to process the results. Results. As part of the study, digital tools designed to support farms were developed. They include an interactive database and information and analytical resource “Farms of the Stavropol Territory”. Conclusions. On the basis of the proposed digital technologies, interaction with the farming community will be improved on a single information platform. The resource may provide quick answers to questions and advices that farmers need, as well as information-based decisions to support their activities.
