Abstract

Purpose. Substantiated materials for variable elements of parts of tillers by technical and economic evaluation of their use. Methods. The mathematical and statistical, bibliographic, accelerated testing of metal surfaces for abrasive wear. Results. According to the technical and economic criterion, the VK13 material for variable elements of parts of tillers is substantiated. Conclusions 1. According to the results of accelerated comparative tests, it was established that the relative wear resistance of the VK13 material is 16.93 times higher than that of the layer deposited by the T-590 electrode and 3.99 times higher than that of carbide steel. 2. According to the technical and economic criterion, the use of replaceable wear-resistant elements made of VK13 is twice as expedient as that of carbide steels.
