Abstract
The nonlinear oscillations of a gas bubble pulsating in a liquid are critically dependent on the damping of these oscillations. We have used an accurate numerical formulation of the problem to investigate the subharmonic emissions from forced oscillations of the bubble. A systematic approach to chaotic behavior will be shown through successive bifurcation of the subharmonic emissions as the driving pressure is increased.
