Abstract

A case of laryngeal haemangioma in the subglottic region in a six-month-old infant with a severe dyspnea is described. The tumour was totally removed and the tissue at the site of its insertion coagulated. Control examination after almost 7 years showed a very good air passage through the larynx and normal functioning. The results of histopathologic examination are discussed in detail.
