Abstract

Aim: Plasma apo B-containing lipoproteins of low densities represent a heterogeneous population of particles varying by physicochemical composition, functional activity, and atherogenicity. This study was undertaken to reveal what subfractions of apo B-containing lipoproteins increase cardiovascular risk even in low LDL-cholesterol, and to find out some peculiarities in low density lipoproteins subfractional distribution in men with coronary atherosclerosis at normolipidemia.
