Abstract

The remnants of the venous channels that drain blood from atrioventricular (AV) node may rarely be encountered as a subendocardial venous plexus, which are in fact the Thebesian veins of the AV node. Any bleeding at this zone may be problematic since there is no room to control this area in the triangle of Koch.
