Abstract
Abstract Transurethral resection of bladder tumors (TUR-BT) comprises the gold standard surgical approach for the management of the majority of bladder cancer cases, both for the diagnosis and treatment of these cases. Patients subjected to TUR-BT may present with various complications, such as gross hematuria, urinary infection, and postsurgical pain. The incidence of subcutaneous emphysema after TUR-BT is extremely rare and urologists should be aware of this extremely rare complication.
