Abstract
We present an SU(3)F meson mass formula from random phaseapproximation. Both the mesons of ground-state pseudoscalaroctet and ground-state vector octet are described quite well bythis mass formula. We also estimate the current and constituent quarkmasses from the naive quark model and the PCAC relation.
