Abstract

Colonoscopy has become one of the most effective tools for colorectal neoplasia screening. Several factors have been linked to the quality of colonoscopy as a colorectal cancer screening tool, such as adenoma detection rate. Technical difficulty in reaching cecal intubation and thus providing a complete evaluation of the colon can sometimes be encountered and may influence the quality of colonic exploration.
