Abstract

Cap assisted colonoscopy (CAC) can flatten and depress colonic folds to decrease the blind mucosal areas. Although CAC expects to improve adenoma detection rate (ADR), the outcomes are inconsistent. We developed cap assisted colonoscopy with trembling technique (CACT) to improve ADR by shaking the operating hand slightly during withdrawal. The purpose of this study was to compare CACT with standard colonoscopy (SC) for ADR.
