Abstract
Since acute cholangitis(AC) is sudden onset syndrome and has risk for developing severe infection that can be fatal, we usually need to provide appropriate medical care at early stage. ERCP or EUS are indispensable for prompt diagnosis and treatment for AC. Some reports have indicated the superiority of linear array EUS in detection of biliary tract lesions and contribute correct diagnosis for because of the high resolution of images. In this study we evaluated the utility and problems of EUS and ERCP at one session.
