Abstract

Buried Bumper Syndrome (BBS) is a rare but major complication of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy/jejunostomy (PEG/J) with an incidence of 1.5-1.9%. It is caused by the internal migration of the rigid flange of the gastrostomy tube into the gastrostomy track.
