Abstract

10.7,CI95%:3.8-31.4); Multivariate analysis showed that length and depth of invasion had the highest predictive value; ROC curve showed that a total length of 5cm or depth of invasion 14mm had the best predictive value for metastatic CILN. Conclusion: Rectal Ca staging should preferably be performed using flexible echoendoscopes, as rigid rectal probes cannot identify CILN; we have identified some factors that could predict the presence of CILN.
