Abstract

is 97.9%, CR-HGD/CA is 93.8% and CR-BE is 70.8%. Average time in remission is 47.2 months. Patients with recurrent HGD/IMC were treated with repeat EMR. In the patient with recurrent IMC, the neoplasia was buried under squamous on the EMR specimen. Eleven patients died during study period, all from unrelated causes. Conclusion: Our nine-year experience demonstrates that CBE-EMR is an effective and safe modality to treat BE with HGD and IMC. The most commonly encountered complication of stenosis was shown to be amenable to endoscopic treatment. A 2% of perforation underscores the need for available surgical back up. Subsquamous glands may be a source of neoplastic recurrence but follow-up in this cohort is ongoing.
