Abstract

Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube insertion is a preferred ,less invasive method of gastrostomy tube placement. However,surgeons and interventional radiologists also routinely perform percutaneous gastrostomy tube(PGT)insertion.With escalating emphasis on quality control and reimbursement,a comparison of complications and outcomes in these three PGT placement groups is imperative.
