Abstract

The study aims to understand and assess the nature of the relationship between visual perception and learning to read, to achieve the objective, the study was conducted on a sample of first grade primary school students, counting (117) students, they were divided into two groups using the (T-test) to distinguish between good and weak students in visual perception, The results confirmed the existence of statistically significant differences between good and weak students in visual perception in the reading test among first-grade students in terms of the number of correct answers and in terms of reading time, and there are also a correlation between visual perception and reading test among first-grade students
