Abstract

The article discusses the issues of soil salinization and their influence on the growth, development and productivity of tomato. As a result of the study, soil salinization has an effect on seed germination. When salinization occurs, there is a low percentage of germination, emergence and passage of the phase of plant development are delayed, the fruits ripen on 10-14 days later compared to control plants. There is a decrease in the number of fruits and plant productivity. It is recommended to use the most salt tolerant and productive in production zoned varieties: Volgogradsky 5/95, Dark Red 2027, Andijan, October and from hybrid varieties Inkos (Inkos) F1, AK-TOR F1, Shedi-Lady (Shady Lady) F1.
