Abstract

In this paper, the expression of relative complex permittivity is deduced based on considering the effect of charged particle’s (electrons and ions) flow velocity. The theoretical deduction manifests that the relative complex permittivity is related to temperature, pressure and frequency, especially the flow velocity of charged particles. In further discussion, it is found that there is a turning point in the depended relation between the relative complex permittivity and the flow velocity. In particular, the involved results manifest that the turning point only changes with the temperature at a certain frequency. Besides, some physical explanations for the above phenomenon are also proposed. In a word, the involved study can provide some reference for the electromagnetic characteristics of dusty plasma.
