Abstract
This study focused on the ability of aqueous extract of Thuja occidentalis plant (225mg/kg) to decreaseblood sugar in male and female of laboratory rats and following its ability later on. The effect of thisextract on most blood components was mild (p≤0.05), but the effect was highly obvious (p≤0.01) on theplatelet count. Finally the effect was also obvious to a little extent (p≤0.05) in decreasing of rats averagebody weight in treatment groups.
