Abstract

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is a common herpes virus, which is generally susceptible for human.EBV infection can also cause various diseases.When individuals with some genes defects or primary immunodeficiency disease who were infected with EBV virus, they may present severe clinical symptoms who have the poor prognosis, such as hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, chronic active EBV infection or tumor.Searching the potential genetic defects is helpful to the prevention and early treatment of EBV infection.Now, the research progress of genes defects in EBV infection related diseases was summarized.
