Abstract

This paper studied the deadbeat control strategy for the grid-connected current in three-phase voltage-type photovoltaic(PV) grid-connected inverter. In alpha-beta coordinate, the mathematical model of deadbeat control for three-phase grid-connected inverter was deduced. By combining basic deadbeat control algorithm with space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM), a design method for three-phase photovoltaic grid-connected inverter based on deadbeat control strategy was proposed. Computer simulation results showed that the deadbeat control could still maintain good grid-connected current waveform in case of serious distortion of the grid voltage. Compared to the conventional proportional integral(PI) control, deadbeat control could effectively resist the grid disturbances, and output a smaller direct current(DC) component.
