Abstract

This paper discusses the buckling stability of elastic thin plates, deduces the critical load calculation formula in detail, calculates the critical load of simply supported rectangular thin plates using the energy calculation method, and calculates and analyzes the critical longitudinal load of buckling stability of elastic thin plates using the finite element software ANSYS. The results show that the finite element software analysis and calculation can not only solve the engineering problem of the buckling critical load of the elastic thin plate quickly, but also the accuracy of the results is reliable.
