Abstract
With the quick development of industrialization and urbanization of China, the problems of energy consumption and environment pollution are attached importance by more and more people. As a big population and economic province of China, circular economy of Henan province is of important significance for the sustainable development of national economy. Under the background of sustainable development in the world, this paper firstly analyzed the relationship between economic growth and energy consumption and put forward the urgency of developing circular economy in Henan province. Secondly, the paper brought forward the key economic, social, and systemic reasons that resource was wasted and environment was polluted in Henan province, and summarized the successful experiences of America, Japan, and Sweden in developing circular economy. Finally, the paper gave some suggestions about how to promote the transformation of economic growth mode of Henan province.
