Study on the Problems of the Informatization Process of Engineering Cost Management in China

Abstract

With the continuous development of information network technology, the traditional engineering cost management mode has not adapted to the needs of the development of the times. In addition, engineering cost management reform is imperative. It is an important direction for the development of engineering cost management to use information network technology in engineering cost management activities to promote the informatization construction of engineering cost management. The problems existing in the process of construction cost management informatization in China are systematically summarized through literature reading. Based on this, the key problems are screened out using the analytic hierarchy process. The study concluded that there are nine key problems in the process of the construction of engineering cost management in China: human capacity, management regulations, management mechanisms, ideological understanding, information system construction, information sharing, information quality, information update, and information collection. We hope that this study has certain reference significance for promoting the development of China's engineering cost management informatization construction.
