Abstract

The vertical distribution of air temperature among mulberry trees and its diurnal changes were observed in August 1951.The trees had been planted in a field 150cm×70cm and cut at the stock near the ground every year.The maximum temperature in the daytime wss found in the lowest level near the ground when almost all leaves had been picked off, and they were found in higher level as the trees grew richer in foliage.
