Abstract

It has become the inevitable trend to actively develop and utilize renewable energies, and to continuously improve the proportion of renewable energy generation such as wind power and PV power in terminal energies. The grid connection of large-scale renewable energy generation brings huge challenge to the operation and planning of power system. It become a key problem to be solved in the future that how to use the renewable energy generation as much as possible under the premise of ensuring stable operation of power system. This paper analyzes the capacity of regional power grid to accommodate renewable energy generation as well as the influencing factors. The impacts of large-scale renewable energy generation on power system dispatching is explored, and the measures to improving the accommodation capacity of renewable energy generation is presented.
