Abstract

At present, it is supposed the integrity risk parameter of the Local Airport Monitor (LAM) is same with that of Local Area Augmentation System (LAAS), without considering the impact of the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) fault. In the paper, a novel risk allocation method for the integrity of LAM is proposed, which considers both the integrity impacts of the LAAS fault and the WAAS fault. Firstly, some analysis results show that both the LAAS fault and the WAAS fault will cause the LAM fault. Based on the characteristics of the LAAS fault and the WAAS fault, their integrity risk weights are computed. Moreover, some improvements are made to the conventional LAAS integrity risk allocation method: the H0 (no fault) risk and the H1 (single fault) risk of LAAS are not allotted averagely, but allotted depending on their impacts. Through theory analysis and simulations, reasonable weighted coefficients for the integrity risk allocation are gained.
