Abstract

In view of the rapid development of private higher education institution in China and the differences between instructors and students composition and public universities, some students have some problems in learning methods and learning initiative. Setting up special guidance and improving students’ learning and development ability is an important measure to improve the teaching quality of private universities, which is also feasible and necessary. Learning from the successful experience of “Learning Guidance and Development Centers” of universities at domestic and abroad, this paper explores a student learning support system in accordance with the characteristics of private universities, and improves students’ independent learning ability by setting up learning guidance courses, consultation, discussion and peer assistance.
